I have some interview question , any one please give me proper answer.

1) Types of Transform Map.

2) Difference between Batch update Set and Merge update set with example.

3) Difference between Data look up rule and Assignment Rule.

4) Why current.update() is not a good practice ?

5) Any real time scenario for workflow which is related to incident module with solution .

6) What is Index coalesced field , why we use that ?

7) How we can manage conflict in update set ? What are the ways of troubleshoot in update set ?

Hi there,

Just wondering, what is the purpose behind these questions? Are you asking these to someone? Or have these been asked to you?

How long are you into ServiceNow? Did you had a look at Docs for example (answers on all questions you mentioned are there)? Perhaps looked in your instance if you could find answers on this? Have you followed any ServiceNow courses, or are you completely new in ServiceNow?

If someone would ask me such questions during an interview, I would also ask back... why workflow, why not flow (which should be the first go to). I would ask why merge update sets, as you should avoid this. Etc..
