Multi-Factor Authentication for Microsoft MFA.

Hi

I have a customer requirement to integrate ServiceNow with Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (Multi-Factor Authentication — Access Control | Microsoft Azure )

The Use Case would be that a user logs in with Username / Password or Single-Sign On then gets an SMS from Microsoft MFA with a key.

After entering the Key in ServiceNow they should be logged in. Same as ServiceNow already provides with Google Authenticator.

Did anyone already implement that or has any idea on how that could be implemented?

Is there a way to "rewrite" the existing Mutli-Factor Authentication (with Google Authenticator) that ServiceNow provides OOTB?

Thanks and regards,

Eros

I have this same question from a customer.   Any feedback would be appreciated.

Would love to hear a solution for this issue.  My SOX folks are wanting us to lock down with IP whitelisting because we don't have an answer.  For a global company who relies on contractors for most of its resources and has locations both on and off the network, IP whitelisting seems like a nightmare.  We want to roll ServiceNow out as a global enterprise platform, but are getting a lot of pushback from the security as GDPR is a big concern and our HR organization heavily relies on ServiceNow.

The solution you seek would most likely have to come from a Partner solution since Google Authenticator is the only Multi-factor solution out of the box with ServiceNow.

Here is a search from the ServiceNow Store possible Partner solutions: https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/search?q=multifactor%20authentication
