Need information on CI/CD spoke

I would like to know about the CI/CD spoke . We are planning to automate deployment in our instances and we would like to know the best approach to do it. If CI/CD is a good approach. What type of performance issues can happen if we implement this. Any help in this regard is much appreciated .
