Love the idea of the banner announcement but I have a legal requirement that a banner stays up the entire session and can't be dismissed.
Would rather not do it via a global UI script but use banner announcements instead-- but don't see a way make it non-dismissible.
Just to be clear this isn't for the Portal, but the fulfiller backend UI. Don't think the new banner announcements work at all in the Portal.

Just to close this out, I noticed on Utah Patch 4 that the banner configuration now has a "non-dismissible" option. Looks great.

Hi Brad,
Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Content Publishing> Content categories> Portal
2. Click on "New" button.
3. Follow the image below to fill the fields and add your Image :
4. Save from the context menu.
5. Scroll down and go to Related list, you will see "Schedule Content", Click on "New" Button:
6. Fill the "Page" , Widget Instance and Audience details as per your requirement as in which page , to whom you want to show this banner, Also make sure you have "Availability start date" but NO "Availability end date" , like below :
Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.
Thanks,
Sandeep

Really appreciate the input. I didn't define it, but this is for the backend fulfiller UI so Portal doesn't fix my issue.

You should mention that first where you want to show the Banner in your question

LOL... I know this is old but got a laugh out of your response. The title literally states "Next Experience UI Banner" and you read PORTAL. ha... That isn't the OP fault.
