Is there any way we can introduce Read Only access across all of Servicenow

Hi,

You can use the snc_read_only role to give someone access to read-only across the instance.

Will it provide all admin privileges , as read- only ?

Hello Allen,
is it possible to give some Read only access for admin role?
Giving snc_read_only role is making the complete instance read only.

I also tried crerated a group, adding snc_read_only role to the group and adding the user to it, but, that still made the complete instance read only for the user.

Hi,

Yes, you can give 'snc_read_only' role. You need to activate 'com.snc.read_only.role' plugin for this.
