Sending email in a task on Production Instance

Hello,

 

We are new to ServiceNow. Is there any way to enable emails in a Task or is it only possible through an Incident? We are already in the production instance.

Hi @adarling3 ,

 

  1. 1st you need to make sure that outbound email is enabled to sent out email out from ServiceNow.
  2. Then create a email notification as mentioned by @Sandeep Rajput .
  3. Add the condition when you want to trigger the notification and to whom.
  4. Once you done that create a record and met the condition mentioned in notification.
  5. System will trigger the email to respective person.
