Setting a default font and font size for HTML fields

Does anyone know if there is a way to set a HTML field to be a default font and font size. I don't think the style will set this for an HTML field. We are trying to standardize our kb submission so they all have the same look and feel.

I tried this and it doesn't change the formatting for the normal, heading1, heading2 etc.

Its bizzare, everything in SN seems to be an Arial derivative, except for the html boxes where it defaults to times new roman ! SN wants their stuff to look good and our input to look crap 😉

Please SN can we have some notes on how to change this....

this works great and i suppose should be marked as correct response..

i tried this on the message html field and could define the font size and default text as well, something which can be used to outline the header, footer and body of the message.

Thanks,

Hi,

We too are looking at updating the font of outgoing emails from Times New Roman to something that closer matches the corp standard, sans serif. I've searched the wiki and this forum and it seems that aside from updating individual notifications or templates.. there isn't a global setting to affect html fields. Any progress on addressing this in Dublin or a future release?

Thanks

Could a client script be used to accomplish this?  for example, a client script to Set the font size for <p>  in the editor? This way, the client script could be configured with condition for a particular knowledge base or other condition in case different preferences are desired per knowledge base.
