Time to upload AutoCAD / dxf file (floorplans)

Hi - wondering if anyone can share their experience uploading .dxf files (floorplans)?

We are trying to upload a 4mb file - so far it's taken well over 30 mins and we can't see any progress to tell if it's working or not. Given that its converting tags and such, I'm not sure if it's supposed to take this long, or if is having problems.

We're not seeing any errors, just a circular icon and the message "Gathering floor plan data from DXF file".

Just in case anyone else has this problem - it turned out to be the files I was using. We were able to get another file of comparable size to test with. It loaded within a few minutes. In speaking with ServiceNow, they told us that rendering can take quite a while depending on the amount of objects included in the file.

In our case, the file didn't even get to the first stage where it gives you the option to select the layers to include in the render.  The test file got to this stage almost immediately.

@catherine.s I am not having an issue with the files loading but understanding the brining in the layers and autocad tags do you have any useful documentation for these topics?
