I created a ticket with Service Now Learning Team and they proposed updating the priorities to 100 and 200 respectively:

That completed the task validation successfully.

Hi Vaughn,

Here are the steps as per my recollection, Navigate to CI Class Manager > Open Hierarchy > Search for 'Windows Server' class > Edit Data Refresh Rules (as explained previously). This should ensure the 'Applies To' has 'Windows Server' value. Subsequently, the task must validate successfully. There is no need to modify/delete reconciliation rules. Hope this helps!

If you configured the Reconciliation Rules incorrectly it could affect the refresh rules. We have updated some validation scripts for task 9 to make catches on some incorrect advise on this community thread on how to configure the reconciliation rules.

Please review the CMDB Paris Delta Features lesson for Reconciliation rules where a change took place on how to configure. This is due to the merging of Reconciliation and Precedence rules in Paris.
