Unable to connect to instance while installing MID server

I downloaded MID server installation file and tried to execute the instraller but when I enter my instance link, username and password (for which i have surely given mid_server role) I am unable to connect to instance.. in command prompt it says
I/O exception (java.net.SocketException) caught when processing request: Socket Closed

Hi,
Please follow below steps to install mid server.
1. Navigate to Guided Setup > ITOM Guided Setup.
2.Create the MID Server user and grant that user the mid_server role.
3.Download the installer file for the host machine.
4.Install the MID Server on a Linux or Windows host.
5.Test the MID Server connection to the instance.
6.Validate the MID Server to ensure that it is trusted to access credentials used by the instance for automations.
7.After installing mid server navigate to > MID server > Servers.
8.Open the MID server record and validate it.

Could be related to network issue? permission or firewall..

Hi Sukaj,
In case of permission from firewall.
If server is own pc then it can easily manageable because firewall can access easily.
But if you are server is not hosted on pc then need to take permissions from IT people that is quite complicated.
