user gets log out successful message when logging into portal

We have 8 users who when they try to access the portal get the message that they have been successfully logged out. tried clearing the cache and typing in the url - but to no avail. Anybody else had this problem?

Can you try replacing logout.do with login.do?

My issue is some users were able to login, some not and it is not on portal side but on the backend. Of course as you mentioned by putting login.do we were able to get the login screen. My question is can we get without putting login.do?
