Using HTML in Service Catalog Category Description Field

I am trying to set up some short bullet lists within each category description field under the Service Catalog. My issue is it displays any HTML tag as plain text. From what I have found, ServiceNow doesn't support HTML in this field. Is there anyone else who has run into this issue? Are there any other possibilities I could do to make this work? Anything I have found or done shows me that it will just pull this as plain text. Thank you.

Only plain text is supported for description field under catalog categories. ServiceNow KB: Category Description Translated HTML field renders html as plain text in CMS (KB05520...

However if you are looking for changing other fields somewhere else from Plain to HTML, then you can do that by right click on field, configure dictionary and in the type section select the field type you want. Also make use of scoped applications, to ensure the change doesn't affect the entire SN application.
