Hey everyone 👋
Is anyone here preparing for the CIS-ITSM exam around Feb–Mar 2026? Would love to hear any tips, preparation strategies, or recommendations for good practice question banks. If you’ve already taken it, please share your experience!
Here’s how I’m approaching it:
I’ve completed the official training once to get a solid high-level overview.
I’m now going through it again in depth, this time doing the labs alongside as part of my revision.
I’m also following a Udemy course to gain a different perspective and reinforce concepts.
I’m currently between roles, so I have the time to focus fully on preparation. My goal is to complete the certification within the next two weeks with dedicated study.
Open to all feedback — both encouraging and constructive.

Hi @shafikutty
Here is my Tips:
1. First complete "IT Service Management (ITSM) Fundamentals - English - Zurich" course. Always try to relate everything with your working instance if you are working in servicenow project.
2. For Free mock/practice questions, you can refer - youtube and quizlet (https://quizlet.com/search?query=CIS%252DITSM&type=all) with good rating.
Note: make sure answer you are validating and it is correct
3. For paid mock questions, you can check udemy or any other site.
Good luck!

Hi @shafikutty
Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:
-
Study the training material thoroughly – Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times.
-
Practice the labs multiple times – Do each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just complete them; carefully read and understand the instructions as well.
-
Follow the official eBook – Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce your understanding.
-
Consider supplementary courses – Some candidates have found Udemy courses helpful for additional practice and clarity.
-
Watch my experience video – I’ve shared my own preparation journey and tips here:
