Description: As a ServiceNow system administrator, I want the archiving and retention requirements for the Configuration Item Relationship table assessed, so then an appropriate retention strategy can be defined without removing active or required Configuration Item relationships.

Acceptance criteria: Scenario 1 - Archiving and Retention Assessment GIVEN I am a ServiceNow Platform Administrator WHEN I assess the records held in the Configuration Item Relationship table THEN I need to identify how Configuration Item Relationship records are created, maintained and removed AND I need to determine how an expired or obsolete Configuration Item Relationship record can be identified AND I need to determine whether the retirement status of either related Configuration Item can be used as part of the archiving criteria AND I need to assess the impact of archiving Configuration Item Relationship records on CMDB dependency mapping, relationship views and related platform processes. Scenario 2 - Recommended Retention Strategy GIVEN the Configuration Item Relationship assessment has been completed WHEN the findings are documented THEN I need to see a recommended archiving and retention strategy for the Configuration Item Relationship table AND the recommendation must define whether an archiving rule should be created AND the recommendation must define the criteria and retention period to be used if archiving is appropriate AND the recommendation must define whether an auto-flush rule should be created AND the recommendation must identify any Configuration Item relationships that must be excluded from archiving or deletion AND no archiving or deletion configuration must be implemented until the recommended strategy has been reviewed and approved.
