Deployment Error - Update Sources

Hi team,

I am trying to configure a Remote Instance to retrieve update sets from another ServiceNow developer instance.

However, when I click Test Connection, I receive the following error:

Authentication to remote instance failed
HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized
Check saved username and password

Details:

• Source instance: https://dev343562.service-now.com
• The URL, username, and password are correct.
• I can log in to the source instance successfully using the same credentials.
• The issue is occurring for multiple users, not just my account.

Has anyone experienced this issue recently? Is there any additional configuration or recent change required for Remote Instance authentication between developer instances?

I once tried to clone a PDI to another PDI but wasn't successful and somebody told me it wasn't possible so I stopped trying. I don't remember the details around but it could be similar to what you are trying. Maybe you can search around for that.

And also, your error message mentions a system property:

Have you checked it? What is set there?
