Employee Center URL Suffix Change – Is Updating the URL Suffix Field Alone Sufficient?

Hi everyone,

I am planning to change the Employee Center URL suffix from esc to ec.

In the Service Portal configuration record, I can see the URL suffix field along with other fields such as Homepage, KB home page, Login page and Catalog home page.

My question is:

1. Is changing the URL suffix field from esc to ec alone sufficient to access Employee Center using the new URL?
2. Are there any other configurations, system properties, portal settings, scripts or references where /esc needs to be replaced with /ec?
3. Will the existing Employee Center functionality, navigation, knowledge articles, catalog pages and deep links continue working after changing only the URL suffix?

I would appreciate it if anyone who has implemented this change could share their experience and confirm whether updating the URL suffix alone is sufficient or if additional changes are required.
