I am using record form activity definition , oob we get skip update markcomplete which i dont want i just want submit button so it also saves the data to the backend n then move forward to next activity .... bcz user cannot just click on update button first and then click on mark complete right ....
if they select some fields and click on mark complete button its kind off acting like a skip not saving the data in backend so ..
my requirement is first activity should have field called financial account when this is selected and clicked on submit we should go to next activity definition . Second activity definition will have transaction field and transaction data comes from what is being selected in account (first activity definition) .
Can u suggest how to do what can i use ?

you will have to create a duplicate of Record form activity and then add your own button there and then link it
