Hi ServiceNow Community,
My Personal Developer Instance (PDI) has been showing Offline since today, and I'm unable to access it.
Here are my instance details:
ServiceNow Release: Brazil
Previous Status: Working fine yesterday
Current Status: Offline
I tried refreshing the instance status from the ServiceNow Developer Portal, but it is still showing Offline.
I also checked the Actions menu. The available options include Release Instance and View History, while other options are disabled.
I have been using this PDI for hands-on learning and have created custom tables, users, groups, roles and other configurations. I would like to recover my existing instance without losing my work.
Could someone please guide me on how to bring my PDI back online?
Is this a temporary platform issue, or is there any action I need to take?
Thank you for your help!

Hi @smshaik22
PDI Maintenance and Availability
Some PDIs may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.
If your PDI is currently offline, you can:
-
Wait for maintenance to complete and your instance to become available again.
-
Release your current instance and request a new one. Please note that releasing your instance will permanently delete all data and work stored on it.
As a reminder, PDIs are unsupported development resources and do not have an availability, support, or uptime SLA. We strongly recommend regularly backing up any work you don’t want to lose.

Hi @smshaik22
This is now a known issue and the PDI team has not yet provided an ETA for its resolution.
Backend maintenance is currently in progress in your PDI, and your instance will be up and running once the maintenance is completed.Wait for the instance till it is up if you do not have any urgent work .
As mentioned in the Community Admin’s response in the : PDI offline thread, the team is proactively coordinating with the PDI team to resolve the issue as soon as possible, given that direct support for PDI is not available.
If you have urgent work, in that case , you can leverage using related Lab instance Else Release your instance and request for new (Australia).
