How can I create a system for issuing security permits for assets using the ServiceNow platform?

Also your question is quite broad, it would be useful to provide more specific requirements. Off the top of mind, some information for you to collect would be

  1. Do we have asset data stored in ServiceNow?
  2. Who should be requesting this, do all users have access or only a subset?
  3. What does the workflow look like, who should approve, who should fulfill?
  4. Are security permits something physical to be handed out, or something digitally to be installed, and if digital, do we need an integration to automate this part?

 

Without more details, it would be difficult to provide a design that aligns with your needs.
