CREATING BREAKDOWN FOR CHOICE FIELD

Hi,

I have a choice type field and I want to create a breakdown from that . However I am not able to find that field when I am trying to create the breakdown source. I can see only reference fields there. So is there any restriction for choice fields?

Can you share more about your setup? It's difficult to just give an answer with so little information.

Did you check on any differences between the OOB choice field breakdowns and yours? Priority, for instance, is a choice field. As well as category. They work so there is no limitation, but without more information from you the only possible answer is that you aren't configuring it correctly. Unclear where.

For inserting a new pa_dimensions record, I would recommend:
Facts table: sys_choice
Field: sy_id
Filter: You can go to the dictionary on the field you want and use the same sys_choice filter that is used there. (If you want none to show up on the report, you can set Label for unmatched to None.)
