Hello Folks,
I would like to utilize the “Grant a time-limited user role” feature available in Washington release. I want it to request ITIL Access. I would like to customize it for itil role.
Out of the box, we can request below roles using this feature.
- admin
- impersonator
- snc_read_only
The reference qualifier on Role field is referring to the system property below.
We can customize this reference qualifier to show itil role in it.
As per the service now docs, when the access is requested using this feature by user, the following actions will takes place.
- The specified user now has the role. They must complete their otherwise restricted task between the start time and the end time.
- Time-limited roles are not displayed to the assigned users (Privileges will be granted but we can’t see roles in profile.).
So, if we implement this will it impact itil license subscription. Please share your thoughts on it...?
Thanks
Prasad K

Were you able to customize the reference qualifier to show itil role? Could you please share the steps to do so.
I am looking for script_debugger role on the Time-limited User role table.
Thanks in advance,
Savitha
