Notification test for vulnerability job in Non-prod instance

Hi All,

 

We have created a notification for 'when vulnerability jobs gets failed' and we are not able to test it in DEV and UAT.

We have integration for VR jobs which are inactive in DEV and UAT. 

 

Question: Can anyone confirm, what it will be impact in PROD if we activate those integration in DEV and UAT for testing purpose.

You should be able to test in DEV / UAT.  There is a property to send emails to a specific address only.  You could set that as your email temporarily to see what email notifications get sent out.  You can also check the sys_email log which should show you what would have been sent even though it wasn't.

I'd also look at the notification conditions and who its sending to.  That will help you narrow down where / who will get it.

I'm pretty sure its going to very between organizations so its difficult to say what the full impact would be for you.
