variable was needs to visible based on another variable filed value in catalog form

I have two variables one is reference to group table, another variable is also a reference type. when user select any group on the first variable if the assignment group was empty on that selected record then only the second variable need to visible on the from      

[kalyan sai]

Any one please help me on the same
