How can an aspiring ServiceNow professional get a job without professional experience?

I began my ServiceNow career journey during a 12-month boot camp where I was trained to become a ServiceNow developer. I earned my ITIL Foundation in ITSM and ServiceNow CSA certifications during the boot camp. I was accepted into their paid apprenticeship program sponsored by one of their partners which led to my full-time role with that company. Once I got hired, I was placed on a project that was not ServiceNow, but instead, my job was more focused on telecommunications which I hated.  I got laid off from the company after two years. I have been applying for ServiceNow roles for several months. No company ever gave me the time or day when it comes to submitting applications and resumes. I had no luck with a career coach. My only experience in ServiceNow was the boot camp and the apprenticeship. I'm tired of wasting my time and energy looking for roles while no one is taking me seriously. What can I do to get my foot in the door?

Have you guys built a Portfolio? I was doing further research on job leads and I noticed that a portfolio will help to be hired? not sure how true it is.  What's your thoughts on profolio being added to your CV or Resume?

Not sure if this will help, but it did for me:
Even though your role wasn't ServiceNow-focused, highlight any transferable skills you may have acquired. For instance, if you worked on project management, data analysis, or system integrations, these can be valuable in ServiceNow roles.
Try creating three small projects that can help showcase your ServiceNow talents in your Personal Developer Instance (PDI):

Build a dashboard to display key metrics such as the number of open incidents, average resolution time, and SLA compliance.
Create a service catalog item for requesting new hardware, with fields for specifying the type of hardware, quantity, and justification.  etc...

Create something in Flow Designer
that way you can at least bring something interviewers can see.

Just a thougtht, Hope it helps

This sounds like some sort of game. Pay to learn the servicenow platform. Pay to take an exam to test your knowledge on the servicenow platform.  No real jobs available for new graduates. Whether you are paying with money or your time or both - seems like a waste of time and money.  Waiting for someone to prove me wrong. Where are the real, recent, American graduates that have gone down this 'journey' and ended up with a success story? What percentage of people actually make it?
