yes @bhuvaneshk2
At the moment, the training available on Now Learning is free. However, if you want to take an exam or obtain a certification, you need to pay for it yourself if you are not working for a ServiceNow partner company.
In this case, you would need to pay approximately $300 + $54 tax for the exam/certification.

Hi @bhuvaneshk2,
Unfortunately, completing the necessary courses does not automatically make the CSA exam free under the current procedure if you are not currently employed or connected to a ServiceNow partner or customer company.
The standard CSA exam attempt now costs $300 USD + applicable taxes, or 300 learning credits, after ServiceNow abandoned the previous voucher system.
Therefore, in your case, I would advise:
- If the $300 is too much for you right now, don't rush to pay it.
- Maintain the completion of your ServiceNow badges and learning path.
- Through your PDI and projects, keep expanding your practical ServiceNow experience.
- When you join a ServiceNow partner or customer organization, find out if they offer company benefits or learning credits for the certification.
- Keep an eye out for ServiceNow promotions and programs if you are specifically searching for a free exam opportunity, as free exam attempts are no longer the standard.
- Most importantly, just because the payment screen shows up after finishing the courses doesn't mean you did something incorrectly. Given the current certification procedure, this is to be expected.
I genuinely wouldn't let your inability to pay $300 stop you from preparing if your objective is to land a job as a ServiceNow Developer. While you wait for a reasonably priced opportunity to take the certification, you can still use your ITSM + GRC knowledge, scripting, projects, and practical PDI work to enhance your profile.
After joining a company, you can also check your ServiceNow University account because, depending on their organization, learners associated with the company may be eligible for learning credits.
Let me know what you think!!
If you find my answer useful, please mark it as helpful and correct. 😊
