Adding a resource to a Scripted REST API - API definition is blank and read-only

Hi - I have admin access and my application scope is the same as the application that the REST API is defined in.  So why when I click on New in the resource list area of the API record does it not default the API definition?  Any help gratefully received.

@Mickleman

Did you try to clear instance cache using cache.do and then logout and login again to see?

it worked fine for me

Thank you for the suggestion Ankar.  I tried it but it made no difference, the API definition is still blank when I open the resource form.
