Flow Designer – User approval auto-completes when user is part of group approval

In Flow Designer, I have configured an approval flow like below:

1. First approval is sent to a Group
2. After that, a second approval is sent to a Specific User

However, I am observing an issue:

• If the specific user is also a member of the first approval group
• When any member of the group approves the first approval,
• The second approval (assigned to the user) gets automatically completed/skipped
• Why is the user approval getting auto-approved in this scenario?
  Is this expected behavior in Flow Designer when the same user is part of a previously approved group?

yes this is expected behavior in flow designer when the same user is part of a previously approval group that already approved that request.

Multiple Group Approvals are getting Approved even though only 1 Approval is Approved
