how Remediation target field is updated?

remediation target rules are updating the remediation target field in vulnerable Item but how remediation task(VUL) table this field is updating ..

eg: one remediation task has many VITs are present. but remediation target date is different for all records .. and VUL record is different remediation target date and associated VITs have different dates ? how its happening?

The Remediation Target Date on a Remediation Task (VUL) is automatically calculated by "rolling up" the dates from its child Vulnerable Items (VITs). Specifically, the VUL record will always display the earliest (soonest) target date among all the active VITs grouped under it.
