How to set Workflow stage field icons forApproval pending

Hi,
I am creating a workflow using Flow Designer. I want the stage icon for department head approval to show "Approval pending," but it is being displayed as "Current active step." How can I represent the department head approval as "Approval pending"?

Additional information:
I am creating approval (sysapproval_approver) records in sc_request, and this time I need to represent the RITM stage as "Approval pending."
