Log Out with SSO

When we click on the link to log into Service Now with SSO, we are being automatically redirected to the log out screen. Nothing has changed with the link or the SSO setup. Is anyone else facing this issue?

• Test this in an Incognito/Private window. If it resolves the issue, clear your browser's cache
• ServiceNow SSO Logout Error (redirects to logout page) – Reason, Fixes and Cause.
• Ensure user id is not locked out

We experienced a similar issue before. In most cases, the redirect to the Logout Successful page is related to user mapping or SSO attribute validation rather than the login URL itself.

A few things to check:

• Verify the user account is active and not locked out.
• Confirm the user identifier being sent from the IdP matches the user record in ServiceNow.
• Check for duplicate user records.
• Review SSO logs/debug logs for any authentication errors.
• Test in an incognito window or after clearing browser cache.

Is the issue affecting all users or only specific users? That information can help narrow down the root cause
