Variables data is missing after exporting to excel.

We created a report on sc_task table and added few columns those are the variables in the ritm and not visible on the task, in the report in back end I can see the data but after extracting to Excel the data for those variable columns are showing as empty.

So I thought of creating the report on RITM table but the end user requirement is to get the task number then I thought of creating a database view. with that when I am adding columns related to variables after saving again the variables in the columns are missing?

Any right approach any one can suggest.
