Now Learning community, meet Jerry!
"I am a Product Owner at the University of Birmingham, with over 18 years of experience in the higher education sector, particularly in IT Service Management. Since 2018, I have been an active user of the ServiceNow platform, which has become an essential part of my work. By leveraging the knowledge gained from the Now Learning community, I have deepened my understanding of ServiceNow's capabilities and applied them to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency across the organisation. What excites me most about working in the ServiceNow space is the opportunity to automate and streamline complex business processes, delivering value and innovation.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My son, Justin, and I often shop or walk in the park. Don't be surprised if he pops into a Teams or Zoom call to say a cheerful "Hi!" In my personal time, I enjoy computer games and science fiction, which provide the perfect mix of creativity and escapism.
I had a great experience feeding ring-tailed lemurs during a team volunteering day at the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park! Our activities included cleaning the lynx enclosure and connecting with the park's incredible wildlife. It was a fantastic day that combined teamwork, conservation efforts, and a bit of adventure.
