ACL: Create Project template

The create project template access control is inactive. It is no longer possible to create project templates except with the admin role. How can I make it possible to create a project template using the ‘Save as a template’ function in Project?
From a project, I click on ‘Save as a new template’ and nothing happens. It used to be possible to create templates. I don't know when it stopped being possible. Only the admin role allows me to create a project template.

We have the same issue here, as best I can tell there was some kind of bug causing the ACL check to get bypassed, and an update fixed this bug, however the ACL for project_manager to create on project_template is deactivated in ServiceNow and there's no version, audit, or delete history suggesting that it ever got updated.

I will be duplicating the inactive ACL (/sys_security_acl.do?sys_id=385e88f3c3322100b0449f2974d3ae58 on our instance) and setting the duplicate to active (since the OOTB one is a High Priority file).

HI @magali_chaidron ,

Anyone who has it_project_manager role can create.

Hi @magali_chaidron,

May be you should start using the project templates instead of normal templates. This will help you too give the access to it_project_manager role users. Refer the below screenshot for more details.

Refer the ServiceNow Docs as well:

HI,
They already have the it_project_manager role. These people have been able to create project templates. This is no longer possible. We're in Washington DC. We've activated ‘Project Workspace’. Could this be related?
