Good afternoon @AishwaryaPrasad . Ultimately managers are responsible for their direct reports time, so to support them they may want to provide changes or updates to timecards. It's also something you can do in the regular UI, so you should be able to make the change in the time sheet portal as well. When a manager is reviewing timecards and see something missing it would be convenient to make the update on their behalf. The request is mostly convenience and I was hoping there would be a simple solution since it's possible to do in the UI.
