Agile 2.0 Assigning stories to Sprints

Having trouble assigning stories to sprints in Agile 2.0. I did not use the Sprint Planning Board to build my stories and now I cannot figure how to assign them to a sprint. I know it has to do with the Assignment groups. On the story form I do not have an Assignment group field and the sprint field is read only. What can I do to get these stories assigned without having to do them all over again using the Sprint planning Board? Can I add the Assignment group field to the Story form or is there another way?

From Kingston onwards, Agile 2.0 has a new easy to use board named Agile board. You may drag and drop stories from a group backlog to one of the active sprints of the group in the Sprint Planning tab. To do so, the stories should be assigned to a group first. 

From Jakarta and later, on the story forms, by default, assignment group and sprint should be visible. Sprint field will be editable only if assignment group is populated. It could be possible that your instance is customized to hide the field. An alternate way to set the value would be to navigate to the list view of the stories, configure the list to show the Assignment Group field and set the value for one or more stories by inline editing.

Thanks for the response. After I had posted I did a little more digging and for some reason the assignment group was not on the form. Requested it to be added and then was able to assign to Sprints.
