Approver list in time cards

Hi team,

In the timesheet policy, the project approver is set as the Project Manager. However, in my case, the Approver List is not populating in the Time card for the tsp1 project, even though the user has both the pps_resource and timecard_user roles. I have verified that the Set Approver List business rule is not customized. Could you please help me understand why the approver list is not populating when the user submits the time card?

Hi,

 

One possible root cause could be role, plz make sure below condition has been fullfilled. 

Required Roles for Project Manager:

  • timecard_approver
     role - This is the base role needed for approving time cards
  • pps_manager
     role - This role is needed for project management functions
  • timecard_user
     role - While not strictly required for approval, it's good practice to have this role
