Hello Community,
I’ve recently installed the plugin for the Portfolio Planning Workspace and am currently trying to understand how to add records to the Prioritization section.
Specifically, I’d like to include Demands or Projects in the prioritization view. However, I haven’t been able to find clear documentation regarding the required criteria or configurations needed for these records to appear.
Has anyone worked with this feature and can share the necessary criterias for Demands or Projects to be displayed within the Portfolio Planning workspace prioritization?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Erwin

Hello @Erwin Tsan Fena ,
When you create a new Portfolio Plan you need to first select some entities, e.g. Portfolios.
Now in the actual planning screen you can create Demands or Projects using the button highlighted below. You will be asked which Portfolio they shall be assigned to. If it's one of the Portfolios you selected when creating the Plan then these items will become available in the Prioritization list:

Robert

Hello Robert,
Thank you for your response.
Would you happen to know how existing demands and projects can be added to the prioritizations?
Best regards,
Erwin

Hi @Erwin Tsan Fena
you would need to setup alignment integration to bring in existing demands and projects
https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-it-business-management/page/product/portfolio-planni...
here is some documentation on how to create that
Let me know if that helps

Hello @Erwin Tsan Fena ,
The existing Demands are located in the "dmn_demand" table, while the items in the "Portfolio Planning Workspace" that are also called Demands are located in a different table, "sn_align_core_demand".
A synchronization between these tables would need to be enabled, as described in the documentation posted by @akhilkumar_band .
Regards,
Robert
