Backlog KPI Requirement in Performance Analytics

Hi All,

We have a requirement to implement below.

 

Metric_Definition:

Calculate The total count of active, unresolved tickets that remain open at the end of the reporting period(ex:month), in count and percentage.

 

Metrics Formula:

Backlog = (Opening Balance + New Inflow) - Closed Tickets

 

For assignment group ex: NTT-APPS

 

Please provide your insights on how we can approach or deal with this. Thank you.

Hi @charanpatnala 

the issue is your calculation… how to distinguish between opening balance and new inflow? How will you capture data from what was open last month and is still open this month and what was open this month? Might be that a pa_script can help here….
