We've just deployed the SPM module in our organisation, and we're already seeing the benefits of having a single source of truth, an established demand workflow built into the tool and a resourcing space to help us with workforce planning.
However, now that we've gone live, we're thinking about what regular activities we need to do in order to maintain and continue developing our demand and project management capability, which ServiceNow supports. Does anyone have a view of the key activities that their organisation performs to continually manage their SPM module and ensure that it continues to mature?

Hi @jakecoren ,
I can tell you what i have done in past and what am doing in Present , so collectively this is what i do post seeting up the SPM Module:
1. Demand Management is the one we should start with which also includes Idea management as well , where you can Regularly review incoming demands, validate business cases, remove duplicates, and prioritize based on strategic objectives and capacity.
2. Portfolio Reviews you can conduct monthly or quarterly portfolio reviews to assess project health, investment alignment, risks, dependencies, and benefits realization.
3. Financial Governance – Reconcile planned vs. actual costs, budgets, benefits, and forecasts with Finance on a regular cadence.
Fianally i would focus on Process Improvement – Gather feedback from PMs, Demand Managers, Resource Managers, and executives to identify bottlenecks and continuously refine workflows.
If you run the above for couple of months as pilot or phase 1, it will get you started .
