Our agency is in discussions to migrate from Resource Plans to Resource Assignments. Upon review, there are many new features and many deprecated features. One of the features that will no longer exist when switching to Assignments is the ability to mark an Assignment Complete. This will be a challenge for us as this is the indicator Project Managers and staff use to know that a resource has been removed from a project. Simply having the date range for the Assignment not be in range of today's date (or future date) doesn't convey the message as it is a challenge in current state to keep dates of the Plan current to the Project dates between Project Managers and Resource Managers.
I'd like to suggest that there be the ability to mark Assignments Complete or see if anyone has found a way to work around this.
