Contract End Dates for Users

Hello
I have created some resourcing reports for Supply and Demand, however I have noticed a number of users are still showing as available despite their contracts ending after a particular month.
I have amended the 'resource capacity' but they are still showing as with capacity beyond this date.
How can I fix this so users are not available beyond the contract end dates?
I thought this would also pull from workday like some of our data but it appears not

I think you will need to put an end date on their schedule, since capacity is calculated based on the amount of work a user can perform with a work schedule attached.

Thanks Mark- the issue I have there is that schedules do not allow for end dates.
This seems to indicate it is done via 'update resource schedules' which I have tried and it fails: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-it-business-management/page/product/resource-management/task...
It does not that you cannot put the end date in beyond what the HR application notes- however our HR application states 30/9, whereas her capacity is showing until end of December. I am unable to find where I can see what SNOW thinks her end date is
