Hi,
I have a problem with start and end dates of the project when it is created from a demand.
If I create a project from demand with no cost/resource plans but just start and due dates, project is created with start and end same as that of start and due date of the demand respectively.
If I create a project from a demand with resource plan, cost plan and all other related lists, project end date is populated to be 10 days from the start date where as start date is same as that of start date of demand.
Please let me know if this is correct and also the reason for such behavior.
Thanks

Hello,
I noticed your duration of the Project says 16 days- if you count 16 business days ( I assume your using a schedule that is for weekdays only), i think the duration is creating the end date.... Is their a default duration or scripts of settings controlling it on a new Project...?

Hi,
No custom scripts are written to restrict the project duration and also no out of the box scripts does that. I am trying to understand the out of the box implementation.
Tested it on multiple developer instances and the issue is encountered on all. when the project is crated from a demand with an associated resource and cost plan, the expected end date of the project is taking some random value which ideally should be same as that of the due date of demand(2 months from the start date in my case). Please let me know how to resolve this.
