Hi,
I have a problem with start and end dates of the project when it is created from a demand.
If I create a project from demand with no cost/resource plans but just start and due dates, project is created with start and end same as that of start and due date of the demand respectively.
If I create a project from a demand with resource plan, cost plan and all other related lists, project end date is populated to be 10 days from the start date where as start date is same as that of start date of demand.
Please let me know if this is correct and also the reason for such behavior.
Thanks

Are the Resource Plan, Cost Plan etc dates falling within the Demand dates, or are they set outside those dates?

Hi Kelly,
The Demand I created has the following details
Expected start: 24th Nov 2016
Due date: 26th Jan 2017
Resource plan and cost plan are created within the same timelines.
When the project is created from this demand, Cost plan and resource plan on project got the same dates of that of demand but the expected end date of the project is populated as 15th Dec 2016.
When i create a project from a demand which has no resource and cost plan associated, expected and due dates are getting copied to the expected start and end date of the project without any change.
Please let me know the reason for such behavior.
Thanks

Hi - I just tested this and am not experiencing this. Do you have any customizations on what is being carried over ? If not, I recommend creating a HI ticket. Please let us know what you found.

Hi Kelly,
I tried the same on couple of other developer instances and the issue persists. I gave the due date after a month or two but the expected end date of the project is set to set random date as shown in the screenshots above. No customizations are implemented.
Please let us know the reason for this behavior.
