Customize the Project Status Report or Alternative

Hello Community.

I have been asked if it were possible to create our own customize version of the "Status Report" that is found within a project record, that pulls individual project information into form, from the project details, project tasks, and financials.

Screen shots attached of the sample that was provided.

Any help, including "is not possible" is encouraged.

Hi,

The Project status report is a portal page. With that said, you can add custom widgets to it to get what you need.

Not sure if the data you are looking to display is captured or not, but if that data is captured, you can display it on the Project status report page. Just keep in mind that all changes to this page will affect upgrades.

When you are in a Demand or Project record and right-click, Export > PDF (landscape) it exports a page.

How do you edit the template of THAT PDF?

I was recently asked to update this.  These fields and arrangement are pulled from the form view. To edit you can use a combination of Configure Form Design and Configure Form Layout, via the actions actions menu(hamburger).  We made a copy of the default called is Project Status Report and designed as needed. PMs were notified to change view the to Project Status Report when printing from that view, if not already in it. Hope that helps.
