Hi Juan,

An admin can assign any role to a user.

It's also possible for a given user to "inherit" a given role if this is part of a group and the role is assigned to that group. For instance, there could be a group that's called ProjectManagers which could contain the it_project_manager group. An admin or automated process will just need to assign the required users to that ProjectManagers group.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Berny

if the user already has any role then he is considered as licensed user and you can add a new role without affecting the license count

If the user does not have a license(no roles) and   when you add a project manager or user role then the user consume a new license.

For licensing questions i highly encourage you to talk to your SN account manager, as SN licensing model changing a lot and they are best resources with up to date information
