Demand execution - date, task, resource plan and cost that would not transfer to project

Hello !

When we create a new demand, we have resources working on documenting the "demand" and therefore, we have tasks and resources assigned to the demand for period of time.

As the demand get documented, we create new resource plans for the PROJECT work to come and "save" our resources that would be needed in the event the demand is approve and we can start a project.

My question is

1. Do we have the possibility to have distinction in the demand form a start and end date for demand to be executed from draft to complete stages vs estimated date on when we think project will start/end? ie:

- Demand start date: 12/01/2024

-Demand end date : 12/30/2024

-Project Estimated start date 01/01/2025

- Project Estimated end date 03/01/2025

2. When we have resources plans created on the demand to capture actual time worked during the demand execution (business case documentation per example) , is there a way we can make sure those do not transfer over to the project form once demand is approved? Is it when we create the resource plan under the demand task? or when we have actual logged against those resource plan they won't transfer?

3. How can we see  the roll up Planned Cost and Actual cost of a demand AND have distinct estimate planned cost of a project in a demand form? It seem to be consolidated all in one in the financial tab with not ability to make the difference.

Thank you!
