Demand Task creation - Best Practice

Hello All,

I would like to know if there is any OOTB feature which will create demand task automatically OR will there be any challenges if we create demand tasks using flow designer.

Hi @sunilsargam ,

There are no out-of-the-box features available for automatically creating demand tasks, so this functionality needs to be customized.

For one of our clients, we implemented the solution using a Related Link (UI Action) along with Flow Designer.

Once a demand is approved and the user clicks on the Demand Task related link, all associated demand tasks are automatically created along with the order.

For task assignment, the flow retrieves the relevant roles from the demand (such as Business Analyst, Architect, etc.) and assigns the demand tasks accordingly.

As per your requirement, you can do it full automation using Flow.
