Demands --> Enhancements --> Agile (Stories? Adding to a release?)

Hi,

We are trying to implement 'a single front door' for all our demands. To do this, I want to be able to direct end users to a landing page and have them create a demand, any type of demand. Based on the 'type' of demand, I then want the demand managers to vet the asks and work with process and product owners to prioritize the asks and if it's a larger project ask, route the demand through our Project Demand Screening/Prioritization exercise. 

For the smaller, operational demands, how do I get Enhancements and Defects added to the Agile backlogs? Do you need to create stories for each one so that they show up? 

I'm confused by the Release backlogs vs. sprint backlogs...

Any help is much appreciated!

The Option of using Enhancement may solve the issue partially. Stories can be added in the Enhancement
