Field label not appear

Hello..

I'm a newbie on servicenow. I want to ask about field label...

there is User resource (user_resource) field on Resourse plan table, and the default type is reference, I change the type to List, but when I change back to Reference again, the label field doesn't appear. please help

I change type to choice, then i save it. after that i change the type into reference again. that work.

Do we have a permanent solution for this? I am also encountering this issue.

I believe its because of the length of the field. Please make sure when you change the field type from Choice to Reference, You are also changing the field length from XXX to 32.
