Dear community, I am seeking advice on enabling the Financials page in the Project workspace.
I'm running into an issue where the Financials page in a project initially throws a "Cannot access cost plans" error if no cost plans exist. If I create cost plans using the related list in the Project workspace project details, the Financials page loads but does not display any cost plans, even though the cost plan records themselves contain values
What specific setup is required to correctly populate and enable this Financials page?
(Zurich release, newly enabled instance, PPM Standard activated. The Portfolio Planning or SPW not yet required/not yet used),
Thank you very much
A.

Hi @ Anand2799 , the fiscal periods are generated and available for selection when creating cost plans via the related lists.

Additionally the System log is created a record Error: gs.error("PlanningItemFinancialsIntegrationHelperAPI: Integration Plugins is not active")
Whenever switching from e.g. Details on the Project workspace to the Financials page in the project workspace

Hi @Alpa82 ,
Could you please confirm if the investment object is correctly getting created for project (entry in sn_invst_pln_invst_investment) table. It may not be related to fiscal period and could be an error in logic which is fetching investment object or hierarchy of investment objects.
Could you please share the PDI where you are able to reproduce if possible?

hi @Dheeraj Bharsiy appologies, before reading your response, I have activated also the plugin Portfolio Planning and then the issue is no longer there. Is it a prerequisite that for the Financial feature within the Project workspace, the Portfolio Planning or Strategic Planning needs to be also activated? (the instance is following: https://dev200610.service-now.com/)
Thank you
